Our range of "First-Stage" Borehole Pressure=Boost Kits are designed to complement and support constant, controllable incoming pressure in the raw water line. This is achieved by boosting and maintaining adequate pressure into the contact tank. Fluctuating pressure is a common occurrence with borehole delivery. Consistent pressure enables optimal oxygen entrainment through the venturi and promotes effective in-tank turbulent mixing, which encourages floc formation—ideal as a pre-treatment for iron oxidation and removal, CO₂ scrubbing, and off-gassing of H₂S (hydrogen sulfide).
