NanoDose™ Dosing Unit

The basic NanoDose™ building block: an adjustable dosing pump and a 100 L chemical tank, ready for any liquid treatment chemical. Chemicals not included.

What it is for

Feeding a liquid treatment chemical into a pipe or tank at a steady, adjustable rate – for example sodium hypochlorite for disinfection or iron oxidation, or a pre-dissolved pH or coagulant solution. It is the same pump and tank used in the NanoDose™ Chlorine, Iron Removal and Flocculant kits, without the chemical, so you can supply your own.

How it works

The pump draws chemical from the tank through the foot filter and injects it through the injection valve into your raw water line. You set the dose on the dial to match the water flow and the strength you need, and the pump repeats it stroke for stroke.

What’s included

• Etatron PKX analogue dosing pump – solenoid diaphragm pump, output set by hand on the dial (1 L/h at 5 bar, up to 5 L/h at 7 bar), IP65, NSF certified. Supplied with its installation kit: 2 m discharge tube, 2 m suction and bleed tubes, foot filter and injection valve.
• 100 L chemical dosing tank – choose Blue for outdoor installation or Clear for indoor installation (lets you see the level at a glance).

Not included

• Treatment chemicals.
• Why chemicals are separate: treatment chemicals are heavy and expensive to ship, so it is usually far cheaper to buy the recommended chemical from a supplier near you. We’ll tell you exactly which chemical and strength to buy, and it is also available from us as a separate product.
• Installation (available on request).

Choose a different unit if…

• Your chemical is a powder or slurry that settles, such as hydrated lime: choose the NanoDose™ Aggitation Dosing Unit, which keeps the tank mixed.
• You need the pH held automatically at a set point: choose the NanoDose™ pH Control Dosing Kit, which uses a pH probe to control the pump.
